I worked here for 3 years and it was such a rewarding experience!! I recommend to any student looking for rewarding, flexible work experience, esp if pre-health. The company has a good soul thanks to the owners, Chuck and Michelle. I reflect on my time here with massive gratitude. Also recommend if you’re looking for in-home care for a loved one- there are so many gems of people in Manhattan. ❤️❤️❤️

I had the joy of working for At Home Care for over a year. It is such a unique and much-needed company, providing in-home care to seniors at every level, whether it be light housekeeping or total, 24-hour care. At Home Care values its clients above all else; they ask for feedback and continuously seek to grow and improve. It's a phenomenal work environment: Woody Shoemaker, the owner of this company, calls his employees and clients individually to check in and make sure that caregivers are happy at work, and that clients are happy with the care they received. Even though At Home Care serves people all over the Flint Hills area, it has a tight-knit, family like environment, which is hard to find. This is a job that I genuinely looked forward to going to. I built strong relationships with my regular clients, and got to make a positive difference in their lives. It's a truly fulfilling feeling. This company provides high-quality care and helps keep seniors independent and living in their own homes. I would recommend At Home Care to anyone, whether they are seeking employment, in need of assistance with daily activities, or trying to find care for a parent. It is a truly extraordinary company.
